We are the southsea scullers

In December 2025, three novice rowers will be taking on the challenge of a lifetime: rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. The journey started in 2023, when we signed up for the World's Toughest Row and there's a long way still to go.

The Team

We all come from a sporting background, all having played rugby to various levels. Henry played professionally for Harlequins and has a marathon under his belt. Adam has run elite level marathon times and an Ironman. Sam has completed marathons, an Ironman and has years of sailing experience. We have three key goals for this challenge:
1) Raise as much money as possible for charity.
2) Be competitive in the race.
3) Complete the challenge as mates with smiles on our faces.

Charity

We wouldn't be doing this if we weren't raising money for three charities very close to our hearts. The MSA Trust: Sam's Uncle lives with MSA. It is a rare, progressive neurological condition with no cure and very limited treatment options.Cure Parkinson's: we all know someone who has had Parkinson's. A neurological condition with no known cure, CP are committed to finding one.Seb's Foundation: founded in memory of Seb Adeniran-Olule, a teammate and friend of Henry, the foundation uses the power of sport and education to provide opportunities for young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. If you would like to support these amazing charities, please donate here:
